IPS Mould Shields are transparent shields that attach to either side of your mould. As the mould opens and closes so does the shield. This acts as a barrier to contain your parts within the moulding drop zone providing permanent relief from rejects and parts spoilage. Mould Shields attach to the mould using magnets. The shields are quickly removed by simply unclipping them from the magnets to gain access to the mould and can be moved from machine to machine.

A range of sizes is available and each set includes a pair of shields, magnets and other mounting hardware. NB: these items are often referred to as "Side Curtains".

IPS Mould Chutes stop your parts from scattering randomly in the drop zone. Mould Chutes ensure your parts land on your conveyor or in your packing case and not on the floor.

Mould Chutes are made of durable plastic with a PVC lining in the bottom to protect even the most delicate moulding. The unique construction will not absorb oil or grease and is abrasion, puncture, and tear resistant. Each Mould Chute is easily cleaned using simple household cleaners and there are no concertina folds to trap mouldings or dirt. Mould Chutes come in 18 standard sizes with in-line or side exit delivery chutes. Tapered Mould Skirts are available when you need to direct parts down onto a conveyor or into a box.

IPS Drum Covers prevent your raw material from becoming contaminated from air born dirt, dust and other unwanted debris by keeping them secure within the container.

IPS Gaylord Covers prevent your raw material from becoming contaminated from air born dirt, dust and other unwanted debris by keeping it secure within the container. Now IPS has introduced its new bigger cover that fits the new larger Gaylord.

Octabin Covers are custom made to suit any Octabins currently on the market. Keep your raw materials free of debris and contamination.

WHY TIE BAR COVERS? Most moulders have been using them to protect their mouldings from tie bar grease contamination. And it works too.

We have recently found another reason. Tie bar covers also protect the machine from the mouldings. That's right. In-mould labeling is a hazard for tie bar bushings. Let a loose label get between the bushing and the tie bar and see how fast your bushings wear out.

Our covers are made of tough, oil resistant polyester material with plastic zippers. They are attached to each platen using magnetic restraints and Velcro straps.

Tie bar covers are offered in a range of sizes: Tie bar cover length = platen maximum opening and must be specified when ordering. A complete set of tie bar covers contains 4 covers complete with all mounting hardware.
