Mould Shields
Mould Shields fit to the edge of the mould and
open and close with the mould to prevent parts spilling into the
machine or onto the floor. Made of transparent material it's easy
to view the process without removing the shields. They attach using
removable magnets for rapid access to the mould and to avoid slowing
down mould changes.
Occasionally, there is insufficient room for the magnets because
of pipework or other obstructions. In these cases it is easy to
drill a small tapped hole in the side of the mould and insert a
threaded post for the attachment to fit over.
